About the Workshop

FULL DAY

Stefano Tortora, Department of Information Engineering, University of Padua, Padua, Italy
Luca Iocchi, Dept. of Computer, Automation and Management Engineering “Antonio Ruberti”, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy

This workshop aims to bring together researchers from diverse fields, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, robotics, and control theory to discuss the latest advancements in learning and planning for the next generation of intelligent robots.
We welcome contributions on topics of interest that include, but are not limited to:

  • Reinforcement learning for robotic control
  • Learning from demonstration and imitation learning
  • Probabilistic planning and decision-making under uncertainty
  • Innovations in Task and Motion Planning
  • Model-based and model-free learning for robotic tasks
  • Continual learning and adaptation in robotic systems
  • Explainable AI and trustworthy robotics
  • Human-robot interaction
  • Knowledge representation and reasoning for robotics
  • Safe and robust learning and planning
  • Applications of large language models and foundation models in robot planning and control

The workshop will consist of spot-light presentations based on your contributions, and a time slot for an open discussion in the form of a round table.
